Shengshu Technology and Alibaba Cloud Form Strategic Partnership to Build a Full-Stack Cloud + AI Ecosystem and Accelerate Industrial Deployment

On April 14, 2026, Shengshu Technology and Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group officially signed a strategic partnership agreement. The two parties will collaborate around the principles of “long-term trust, strategic coordination, joint technology development, and ecosystem synergy,” leveraging Alibaba Cloud’s capabilities in cloud computing and full-stack AI infrastructure alongside Shengshu Technology’s technical expertise in multimodal foundation models and world models.

Shengshu Technology CEO Luo Yihang and Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group VP & North China Region GM Gao Fei signed on behalf of both parties. Shengshu Technology Founder Zhu Jun and Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group Senior VP & Public Cloud Division President Liu Weiguang witnessed the signing.

Shengshu Technology recently completed nearly RMB 2 billion in Series B financing, led by Alibaba Cloud. This round reflects capital market recognition of Shengshu Technology’s technical strength and product progress, as well as confidence in its long-term industrial value and strategic direction.

Shengshu Technology’s proprietary multimodal model Vidu has established strong product competitiveness and commercialization foundations. Globally, Shengshu Technology is the first company to achieve a unified general world model spanning both digital and physical worlds.

Alibaba Cloud will serve as Shengshu Technology’s core cloud resource provider, providing long-term, stable, large-scale cloud support across the entire lifecycle of data collection, storage, model training, inference acceleration, and application deployment.

Leveraging Alibaba Cloud’s full-stack capabilities in computing, storage, networking, big data, and MaaS, both parties will jointly build a high-performance infrastructure system for multimodal models and world models.

Leveraging Alibaba Cloud’s “global single network” infrastructure, both parties will enhance service capabilities worldwide, providing solid support for Shengshu Technology’s overseas business development and international market expansion.

Shengshu Technology’s proprietary multimodal model Vidu has officially launched on Alibaba Cloud’s Bailian Model Marketplace. In the SuperCLUE global reference generation benchmark, Vidu Q3 topped both multi-image and single-image reference rankings.

With Vidu’s full model series integrated into Bailian, MaaS collaboration between both parties deepens further. Currently, Vidu supports text-to-video, image-to-video, and reference-to-video capabilities on the Bailian platform, with full API interfaces available for seamless integration with enterprise production systems.

Beyond multimodal foundation models, both parties will engage in deeper technical exchange and joint exploration in the world model direction, including optimization of multimodal video generation models, VAE encoder hardware acceleration research, and post-training strategies for world models and video generation models.

Looking ahead, both parties will combine Alibaba Cloud’s Tongyi model with Vidu’s multimodal generation capabilities to explore cross-modal joint solutions, accelerating AI video deployment in more industry scenarios.
